    I got this as my partner is part Italian and loves good simple Italian food (although he's not a builder!). The recipes are easy to follow and really tasty - a lot of them are familiar from when he was growing up which is just what he wanted! We especially like the handwritten feel and the way timings, ingredients and method are in different colours.The sugo di pomodorro has become the base for so many recipes - it goes brilliantly with meatballs; and the pasta fagioli has become a firm favourite.Highly recommended

    I received this book as a present and I absolutely love it! The recipes are easy to follow and the results delicious... even better than Mamma used to make! It contains a really great variety of genuine Italian dishes and I would thoroughly recommend it as a present to friends, family or... to yourself :)My compliments to the chef... and to the author!Buon appetito!!!

    I found this book and its recipes lovely and simple. I have already tried some of the recipes, the Bigoli in salsa was wonderful, and appreciated by my friends too, and I'm not known for my culinary expertise...thanks Marco Caldon
